Olga ALEKSANDROVA was born 1955 in Russia. In 1963 she commenced her training at the Novosibirsk Ballet Academy. After graduating in 1971 she was immediately offered a position in the Novosibirsk State Opera. Dancing for 17 years, in which time she progressed to the top ranks of the company, performing leadind roles in classical ballets such as:,“Swan Lake“, „Giselle“, “Nutcracker“, „Sleeping Beauty“ and more. 1988-90 she also taught for Novosibirsk Ballet Academy. After this time Olga became a soloist and pedagogue in the Oper of Graz, Austria. 1991 she joined the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Dusseldorf- Duisburg under the direction of Heinz Spoerli. 1999 Olga ended her carreer as a dancer in Staatstheater Wiesbaden. Soon after, Olga graduated as a ballet teacher with a doctors degree at University of Charkov, Ukraine. From 1999 she taught at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts and at Dr. Hoch’s Konservatorium in Frankfurt. In this time she gave private classes to her son Daniil SIMKIN, who has won many international ballet competitions. Since 2006 Olga is director of the ballet department at Dr. Hoch’s Konservatorium. 2007 Olga joined the panel of international Judges in Vienna representing Germany for the 7th International ballet competition.
